Holiday ramblings....
Feb. 18th, 2004 10:58 pmI've been to the zoo and seen gay penguins.
I've been to the Tower of London and been viciously attacked by a glass door. (I have a lump on my head to prove it)
I've been to the Imperial War Museum and seen the fantastic Women and War exhibition and the incredibly moving "Crimes against Humanity" film. I have to go back and see the World Wars and post 1945 conflict exhibitions..... I could spend weeks in there.
I've been to the National Portrait Gallery and scrutinised the details on all the 20th century Prime Minister information labels and was rather disappointed to find they'd got everything right.
I have confused Tuesday and Wednesday and turned up for work when I didn't have to do so.
I have seen the Reduced Shakespeare Company's "A Brief History of America" and have gained a new catchphrase ("For truth, Justin, and the American Way" ) and a good insult for Wales that I won't repeat in present company.
And I have eaten extraordinary amounts of junk food...
Yay!
and, it's only 118 hours until 'Shattered'
