Back and full of chocolate

I'm back from Nottingham , without any major comical injuries. I call that a success.

Things I learnt from this weekend:

1. Hats are inherently funny, especially when worn at a jaunty angle.
2. Never ever trust anyone who says they know the way to Sherwood Forest, always look at the map yourself.(only joking [personal profile] heatherbelles !)
3. Muffin making is much more complicated with three people instead of just one
4. Some people will never appreciate being saved from a vicious bee attack in the early hours of the morning.
5. Bees don't listen when you whisper.
6. Wooden floors and socks do not mix.
7. It is possible to eat too much chocolate.

Rebuttal

1 - Hats are not funny when you are the poor soul that is forced to wear the 'Damsel' hat.

2 - I knew the way, the directions given by the AA were wrong. Did I, or did I not point out the rather large sign at the roundabout?

3 - Possibly true, but made the clearing up easier. And also, the third person provided the valuable knowledge of the Lemon Glaze

4 - 8 am is not the early hours of the morning. The bee was not viciously attacking, but was lost, and the other inhabitant of the room claims she could have dealt with it, but you were nearer.

5 - Bees rarely seem to respond to the human voice, spoken or whispered.

6 - It's far more fun to slide

7 - It's never possible to eat too much chocolate, although we may have come close to the limits.
