Ian McKellan in a badly fitted suit.
Feb. 20th, 2005 11:09 pmI should remember Hampton Court for it's wonderful gardens, or it's fantastic rooms (an estate big enough to house all fringedwellers without fear of fights breaking out), or it's really very pitiful maze, but what do I remember? Ian Mckellan in a green, ill fitting suit on a 10 minute "History of Hampton Court". It was shocking. The appearance of Ian Mckellan is always surprising, but to learn that there was a time when he couldn't dress well, shocks one to the very core.
We saw "Man on Fire" - which turned a light mauve colour and barely kept its feet in the stirrups, but did also teach us that doubling the number of people second guessing the twists and turns only serves to make the film altogether less enjoyable. However Dakota Fanning is the only child actor who doesn't make you want to rip her throat out, so that was a plus.
And, I didn't fall over once....
