I think my plans to be a mad cat lady may have to be put on hold.

For a while I have been planning to get a TrescothickCat to go with StraussCat. Partly because I thought Strauss would appreciate a friend, and partly because I so want Opening Batsman Cats. Also Trescothick is an awsome name for a Cat.

However, I rescued a stray cat at the weekend (who has temporarily been named StrangeCat) and it's living in my spare room until I can take it to the RSPCA. Strauss is Not Happy. He has set up a vigil outside the door and periodically hisses and puffs up, just to make a point.

I think I may have to be a one cat mad cat woman because Strauss is unsociable.

They just need time to make friends! I'm sure Strauss would be sociable once they'd gotten that intimate sniffing that cats always have to do out of the way. Don't give up on Trescothickcat so soon.

I'm not sure she is TrescothickCat, though. So maybe that's why they're not getting along.
