I'm having quite a good day

I have contact lenses! I can see everthing without a box around it, and I've only fallen up the stairs twice because I miscalculated the distance.

I've watched Stargate and West Wing and fallen in love with Stargte Atlantis already.

Most importantly, my Smallville tape arrived! I know Season four is not popular, but at least now I get to decide for myself. Plus it had the ABC interview and some other bits on it...

I can now watch unseen Lex without a box around him, it's all very exciting.


Jack: "I've never had a desk"
Sam: "Sir, for the record, you do have a desk"

Don't worry, the falling over will stop soon. I nearly pitched down a flight of stairs at Cardiff Central train station while informing slackeruk that "Actually, judging distance is a bit of a proble...."

I didn't see Atlantis, maybe I can catch it on a Sky Mix repeat. It was Daniel's "You could do whatever you want" line that cracked me up!

How did you manage to miss Atlantis, considering they ran it straight on to the end of Stargate? I think they missed an ad-break it was very confusing...

I was in fits for that scene, I just loved the look on Sam's face as she realised Jack had been working there for seven years and didn't know he had a desk, and Daniel's panicked "you could do anything you like, *within reason*." I also heartily appreciated Jack's announcement that he'd be happy to have the office, and the wage rise, and the parking space, but he didn't want to actually be in charge of anything.

I switched over for West Wing, I have to go to bed by 10.30pm otherwise I'm useless the next day.
