I have spent the weekend constructing a hedgerow. This does not involve planting hedges; it involves laying on hawthorns, sawing and hacking at trees, lifting trees over your head and holding them there untill someone comes to rescue you, tipping trees over sideways, and trying not to fatally injure your fellow volunteers all at the same time. Still, there is now a hedgerow in Kidderminster with my name on it, and I'm sure the infection in my knee and the swelling in my hand will go down soon.

I had a fantastic time.
