Annoyed Cricket Post
Jun. 3rd, 2006 02:14 pmInsert inconsolable howl of rage
You see this? This feeling of crushing disappointment and grief? This feeling that somehow *I* have just got out in a situation which would have been a perfect opportunity to prove my critics wrong at the home of my main challenger?
This is why I don't like getting invested in players. This is why I ignored a year and a half of Geraint's test career. This is why I sometimes have to push English cricket to the back of my brain and pretend I'm not so much of a fan after all.
indian_skimmer Are you sure it's a wise idea for us to watch the New Year Ashes Test together? I'm not a lot of fun to be around when I'm like this, and there might possibly be tears. If The Thing That Won't Possibly Happen does in fact happen I may associate it with you and never be able to speak to you again...
