I would like to take this opportunity to say the following things:

a) I really, really like yoghurt coated raisins.

b) Hoovering is, without a doubt, my least favourite household occupation

c) I'm now officially counting down the days till I get to start my PhD (402), providing someone on my friendslist comes through with the 30 grand.... I'm still waiting you know.

d) I'm really looking forward to seeing Snakes...On a Plane.

e) Matthew Hoggard is quite possibly my favourite person of all time. "Steve's always touching his side. He touches quite a few other things as well."

f) In precisely 24 hours time I will be watching County Geraint, or possibly be getting soaking wet and not seeing anything at all.

The pause after 'Snakes' is essential. It doesn't sound right otherwise. I like randomly saying it out loud, normally accompanied by some sort of flailing gesture, or jazz hands.

XD

Oooooh, Geraint.

You have to use jazz hands, it just adds that extra little something.

County Geraint. He's even better than International Geraint, on the grounds that he doesn't look like he's about to cry. There's also the possiblity that it will be Slightly Damp County Geraint, who's the best of the lot.

The flourish adds style.

Mmmmm, Damp County Geraint *kidnaps*

Hi, I saw your post on seperis' journal and followed through icon love. Don't really have much to contribute since my cricket bug's dissipating gradually through four years in cricketless america but it still makes my heart beat faster sometimes. So this is just a general appreciation of having found a cricket lover through sga :)

Hello! You can experience your cricket vicariously through me.

I'm not sure I could live in a country without cricket....

I didn't think I could either. I mainlined all the cricket news, highlight clips that I could find online and obsessively refreshed the live score pages when a match was on. At least the grad student centre here showed the world cup. I actually woke up at 2:30 am in sort of winter to go watch the matches. It was kind of fun in a sleep-deprived way. Ah, good memories. You are in England then? What are they up to? I followed a bit of the twenty-twenty for one of the overseas players mainly but haven't followed english cricket too much.

I am in England, and will be spending our winter sleep deprived for the Ashes in Australia.

We're in the middle of a home series with Pakistan at the moment, we've secured the series but are playing terribly in the final match. Basically, since we won the ashes back everything has been building up to this winter.

Yoghurt covered raisins rock hard, man.

Hoggy is the most precious person ever. Fact.

All types of yoghurt coated fruit rock, but raisins are the best.

Hoggy is just so refreshingly...Hoggy-like.

Snakes on a Plane is a brilliant title. I'm considering braving public transport to go and see it.

I've been following the Snakes On A Plane buzz for what seems like forever, and I'm very excited that it's finally here. Three cheers for Samuel Jackson, who picked up the script and decided to do it based on the name alone!
