They don't seem like an animal that would be particularly happy in Australia, but you never know.

My large book of evolution suggests that the Australian badger equivalent is the wombat(which while very cool on it's own terms is rather disappointing).

indian_skimmer and I have hatched a plan to mail aggravated badgers to people we don't like. It woudl be easier if we could get someone inside Australia to do it for us, but that doesn't look possible.

Sadly it's a bit endangered, so kidnapping one may not be easy. On the other hand if we wanted to esptablish a breeding programme there would probably be grants.
