Or at least too complicated to explain....

I need to know whether they have badgers in Australia.

They don't seem like an animal that would be particularly happy in Australia, but you never know.

I'm 99% sure that they don't. I think I'm going to not ask...

They don't look like an animal suited to the Australian lifestyle, do they? The flip flops would fall off for a start.

Beard!Icon :-)

Ahem... no, they don't. Having done further research, I'm quite sure there are no badgers in Australia, unless you count KP and Nixon.

The badger websites will be stunned by the increase in hits!

(Beard icon kindly made by [livejournal.com profile] indian_skimmer I'm only allowed to use it on cheery ocassions, but badgers make me cheery.)

My large book of evolution suggests that the Australian badger equivalent is the wombat(which while very cool on it's own terms is rather disappointing).

The Tasmanian badger equivalent on the other hand...

Now *that* we could work with.

How easy will it be for Mr Jones to get to Tasmania? More importantly, will they check his bag on the way back?

It's satisfyingly toothy isn't it?

Sadly it's a bit endangered, so kidnapping one may not be easy. On the other hand if we wanted to esptablish a breeding programme there would probably be grants.

We could make it our long term plan, so we have an australian branch to our agry animal mailing service in the future.

Also. I want a Big Book of Evolution. It sounds useful.

Oooh! Excellent! Thank you for entering the scary badger post to tell me.

Is that ITV2?
From: [identity profile] sweet-exile.livejournal.com
Yes I don't know if it will be on regular ITV.

Dare I ask about the Badgers?
From: [identity profile] lemonbella.livejournal.com
You can dare.

[livejournal.com profile] indian_skimmer and I have hatched a plan to mail aggravated badgers to people we don't like. It woudl be easier if we could get someone inside Australia to do it for us, but that doesn't look possible.

I hope that explains things.

Actually yes it does. It's a little scary that your plan makes perfect sense to me.
