The Time Zones take their first casualty.
Nov. 22nd, 2006 10:00 amIn my head it's Thursday. Because Test Matches start on Thursday and the first test starts tonight. So, Thursday 22nd of November it is. In my head.
I ring up the company responsible for painting my flat door and after a very convoluted discussion as to why I can't have my flat door painted on Saturday 24th November, the customer service woman (showing remarkable restraint to be honest) points out that Saturday is the 25th November.
This will not be the last time it happens. If I forget someone's birthday, or christmas or to go to work, it's totally the Australians' fault.
