Now, I just need to find £30,000
Jun. 20th, 2006 06:27 pmI have been accepted by The University of Essex for my PhD! The best British uni for International Relations so *dances the reserved dance of almost celebration*
Now all I need to find, before I can actually celebrate, is the money to be able to afford it. *sigh*
Anyone want to help me rob a bank?

Date: 2006-06-20 10:01 pm (UTC)Right, I'll do it if you promise that the next time you pass Orlando Bloom in the street you'll kidnap him for me 'kay?
Re: Congratulations!
Date: 2006-06-20 10:34 pm (UTC)Okay, it's a deal, but Orlando has to go to heatherbelles first, as I promised.
Re: Congratulations!
Date: 2006-06-21 09:33 am (UTC)You're the best friend ever.
Oooh, I volunteered us to act as diverstions when fringedweller wants to launch a campaign on Dominic Monaghan.
We figured that if you and me do our clutzy thing, he'll never notice her creeping up...

Date: 2006-06-20 08:24 pm (UTC)That means we could break it down into several robberies (in which we could secure you a cut) or my entire friends list could start defrauding their employers...

Date: 2006-06-20 09:20 pm (UTC)I've been harrasing Lemonbella for *ages* to come visit, and the most I get it "well, when I go to Trent Bridge for the cricket..."
I feel abused.
But, count me in on the bank robbery thing. I can do diversons, and also may be able to provide items from the Fringedweller supply cabinet.
Ooh and if I won a Lottery jackpot type thing, I'd fund you... But as I don;t often buy a ticket, don't count on it.
Seriously though, congrats!

Date: 2006-06-21 09:26 am (UTC)It's a bit grubby, but the teaching was pretty good. Of course, nmine was vocational, so normal Uni-type stuff I can't pass verdict on really!

Date: 2006-06-22 10:58 pm (UTC)I can't speak for the teaching as the OU have their own tutors, but the accomodation was pretty skanky. The labs at Queens Medical Centre are great though. I really enjoyed working there even though the place is like a labyrinth and I was constantly lost!

Date: 2006-06-23 06:59 am (UTC)I can believe the accomadation was pretty grim, just from walking past the outside.
