I have been accepted by The University of Essex for my PhD! The best British uni for International Relations so *dances the reserved dance of almost celebration*

Now all I need to find, before I can actually celebrate, is the money to be able to afford it. *sigh*

Anyone want to help me rob a bank?

I thought you were American :P You'll love Uni, I'm at Uni in Nottingham (Trent, not *the* Nottingham uni). Come visit :P Money can be earnt through volunteering as a hairdressing model/medical experiment subject ;)

Nope, I'm British. I've been to uni twice already (Liverpool and Reading) so I can't have found it that bad!

Maybe if i sell my body to medical science....

Hee. Don't be dissing the Trent, it's not that bad. I did go there for my Post-Grad.

I've been harrasing Lemonbella for *ages* to come visit, and the most I get it "well, when I go to Trent Bridge for the cricket..."

I feel abused.

But, count me in on the bank robbery thing. I can do diversons, and also may be able to provide items from the Fringedweller supply cabinet.

Ooh and if I won a Lottery jackpot type thing, I'd fund you... But as I don;t often buy a ticket, don't count on it.

It's a bit grubby, but the teaching was pretty good. Of course, nmine was vocational, so normal Uni-type stuff I can't pass verdict on really!

I can't speak for the teaching as the OU have their own tutors, but the accomodation was pretty skanky. The labs at Queens Medical Centre are great though. I really enjoyed working there even though the place is like a labyrinth and I was constantly lost!
