It's like an old friend....
Jan. 9th, 2007 10:38 amI turned on to see England at 41-3 chasing 221 and I actually burst out laughing. It's so nice to have that weight of expectation lifted.
Also, in the interests of making bizarre and irrational statements about wicket keepers - everyone else has been doing it for so long I may as well join in now - I'm backing Nixon to win this one for us.
I'm mainly backing Nixon because he has Entirely Correct Opinions About Geraint Jones and is therefore a Good Person but also because he's old, and if cricket isn't a sport for old and/or fat people, I don't want a part of it.
